Caliber: Play the Operator Role, Not the Kill Feed
Caliber is a PvE/PvP operator shooter. The objective needs a shield, a medic, and someone who actually plants.
Someone has to touch the objective
Damage on AI does not plant. Assign the planter before the door opens. Caliber raids stall when four people hold angles.
Shields go first into rooms. Rifles hold the swing. Mixing that order is how you wipe on a trash mob.
Utility is a cooldown, not a panic button
Save smokes and heals for the room that actually hurts. Dumping everything on the first hallway leaves the boss naked.
If a teammate is down in the open, smoke then revive. Hero revives without cover repeat the wipe.
PvP still uses the same jobs
In PvP modes, default the plant and watch flank. Caliber maps punish the team that all stares at one door.
Swap operators if you are hard-countered. Comfort DPS into a stacked site is a highlight for them.
