Deadside
Deadside Loot Routes That Stay Quiet
Deadside punishes greedy loops. A short inland path with one compound beat a full-map sprint that dies at the road.
Why coastal sprints dump your kit
New players hug the coast because tents look safe. They are also the first places other squads check after a server hop. Inland farm clusters and small industrial yards hold better rifles with fewer door campers.
Walk treelines instead of dirt roads. Engine audio in Deadside carries farther than footsteps. If you hear a truck, stop looting and watch the ridge before you peek a crate.
Compound order that wastes less time
Pick three buildings, not ten. A garage, a house attic, and a shed usually cover ammo, a backpack, and a mid-tier gun. Extra houses add time that other players spend rotating onto your gunshots.
Leave a compound the moment you have a sighted rifle and a stack of food. Deadside extracts are simple. Greed after you are already geared is how duos catch you in a doorway.
When to skip a fight
If you are still on a starter pistol, do not take a compound war. Break line of sight, cut through trees, and reset at a quieter yard two ridges over.
Save PvP for when you have armor and a backup mag. Deadside third parties arrive fast because the map is open and shots echo.
