Destiny 2: Champion Mods Before the DPS Phase
Destiny 2 Nightfalls stall on champions, not on the boss health bar. Mods are the encounter.
Read the modifier, then the exotic
If you cannot stun the champion types, your DPS exotic is a brick. Destiny 2 artifact mods exist for this. Equip them.
Split stun duty. One player should not be the only anti-Unstoppable in a GM.
Add clear is a role
Champions spawn behind add density. A wave-clear weapon keeps the stun window clean. Heavy is for the boss, not every red bar.
If a teammate is down, stun first, then revive. Hero revives into an Unstoppable is a wipe.
DPS phase is a reward
You earn it by surviving the room. Buffs and wells matter, but a wiped team does no damage.
Practice the stun cadence in a lower nightfall before you lock a GM loadout you have never fired.
