Hunt: Showdown

Hunt: Showdown Sound Traps Are the Real Map

Hunt Showdown compounds are wired with audio. Crows, ducks, and glass tell the whole server your grid.

Crows are a ping

Walk around known bird piles. If you must cross, wait and listen after. Hunt: Showdown teams rotate on that audio.

You can also force birds on purpose to fake a rotate. Do it once. Repeating it is a tell.

Windows and doors

Closed doors you did not close are a story. Open them slowly if you are hunting. Sprint-opening is a shotgun invitation.

Glass and hanging chains exist to punish speed. Crouch the interior if the bounty is still up.

Use traps as a timer

If birds pop on the other side of the compound, you have a direction. Do not peek the same window they expect.

Concertina and poison are sound too. Place them where people must vault, not where you will trip your own teammate.
