Marathon Loadouts: Spend for the Next Run
Marathon kits are an economy. Bringing your entire stash into one contract is how a single wipe ruins the evening.
A kit you can replace is a kit you will use
If losing the gun would tilt you off the game, it is too expensive for a noisy contract. Marathon is a loop. Loops need replacements.
Keep a scavenger loadout and a fight loadout. Mixing them makes you slow and still poor.
Mods are for the contract type
Quiet jobs need stamina and silence. Hot POIs need armor and ammo. One “do everything” bag does neither well.
Drop value if it costs you the sprint to extract. A live uncommon is better than a dead legendary.
Insurance is the next queue
After a wipe, run the cheap kit immediately. Sitting in menu regretting the loss is how you play two raids an hour.
If your trio is broke, take quiet contracts until the stash recovers. Ego runs while broke are content for richer teams.
