Marathon Third Parties: Arrive Late on Purpose
Marathon gunfights are loud. The team that arrives as the winners reload often takes the bag.
Listen for the reload
If the fight is still even, you are a third team in a fair fight. Wait until one side is down or looting. Marathon audio tells you.
Push from an angle that is not the door they already watch. Head-on third parties are just a new 3v3.
Do not loot in the street
After you win the third party, the fourth team heard all of it. Grab the contract item and leave.
If you are the original team, fake a leave and hold. Greedy third parties walk into pre-aims.
Contracts can wait
A noisy contract next to a live fight is bait. Take the fight or leave the POI. Doing both is how you wipe.
Ping the plan. Silent teammates who start the objective while you hold are how extracts fail.
