War Thunder Air RB: Aggressive Strategies That Still Work

Air RB punishes panic turns. The players who win climb with a plan, take high-percentage shots, and leave before the third party arrives.

First two minutes decide the match

Climb on a side, not through the merge. Side climb looks slow on the kill feed and wins the first energy fight. Mode rules evolve with ${EXT.game} seasons; the geometry of first-shot advantage does not.

Stay close to a dive exit — never more than a short extend from teammates. Pressure late rotates when players are silhouetted and greedy.

Shots you should take

High-percentage shots are high, slightly lead, and already in your guns. Low-percentage shots are full-deflection panic sprays. Our aimbot settings guide explains how ballistic lead helps only if your FOV stays honest.

When to leave

If two hostiles still have energy on you, extend. Aggressive does not mean stuck. Reset, climb, and re-enter with a height advantage.
